Medical writing and style support

Overview

  • Includes technical editing, figure redrawing, medical illustration, summaries & special issues
  • Services can be delivered within our priority publication timeframes

Technical editing

Our team of medical writing professionals can help you meet the regulatory and stylistic requirements necessary for submission. While your paper must still pass independent peer review, our competitively priced service guarantees that your manuscript will meet the standards outlined in our Notes for Contributors. This not only helps streamline the publication process of your manuscript, it frees you up to focus on other research projects.

After publication, our partner, Content Ed Net, can provide local translation services, ensuring that regional considerations are taken into account whilst maintaining the integrity of the content.

Figure redrawing

To save you time, we can draw charts from source data, or to save you cost, we can replicate figures from other publications. Not only will your figures be clearer and easier to understand, your paper will look more professional.

Please note: If you would like to replicate a figure from a publication other than those in the Informa Healthcare or Taylor & Francis portfolios, you must obtain written permission from the publisher prior to commissioning.

Medical illustration

As the publisher of the Journal of Visual Communication in Medicine, we have ready access to a network of award-winning medical graphic artists. Where required, we can develop your rough sketch or brief into a high quality medical illustration. The illustration is then yours to use in other articles/chapters you author.

Clinical trial & article summaries

Summaries, as written by our experienced medical writing team, allow doctors and other medical professionals to save time whilst digesting an accurate account of research results. For more information, visit the section on clinical trial & article summaries.
